Following many years in the Calgary music scene, For The Weekend formed in the early months of 2010. With each member departing from previous hardcore bands, these young men decided to create a pop / punk style of their own.

“Eyes of Isis” represents the passion and commitment of four teenagers trying to succeed where so many have failed. Among energetic live performances, mass local promoting, media broadcasts and radio play, the teen foursome gave a fresh new taste of rock and roll in their hometown of Lethbridge, AB. Accompanied with catchy riffs, memorable hooks and a well-built following there is no limit to the ambitions these boys encompass to reach the top.

After only two months of writing the teens recorded their first eight song demo which has been distributed across the online market. Nine months into writing, the quartet has twently plus songs written. “Self managing is paying off but we need the assistance of a record label and a great manager to give the band the recognition we need to reach the pinnacle of success in the industry.” Jordan Davidson, vocals/rhythm guitar. “Eyes of Isis” spent January 2010 in studio recording the latest handpicked five song EP Hot as Hell to grab the attention of record labels, promoters and management all over the world.

The band is comprised of Jordan Davidson, the oldest at only 17, who does lead vocals and guitar and lead guitarist Chase Rennie 17, who have only been together since the spring of 2009. Seven months into the making and the group has now been completed by bassist and harmonic vocalist Joey Emerson 16, and drummer and backing vocalist Aaron Folkerson, 15.

“While Davidson and Rennie are hoping to receive record label recognition right now they are just thankful to have the opportunity to record an album.” Kayla Carr, CTV News Canada. Twenty-two year old guitarist and vocalist Justin Carter hails from Alberta, Canada. Huhl, 21, was originally a drummer but now serves as pianist for THE SKY LIFE, Josh Steffen, 23, has recently joined the group playing drums. Dwight also calls Alberts home. He is 25 and plays bass. Daniel is from Medicine Hat AB, and plays lead guitar for the group.
